Good Design* Award 2015 for Merrychef eikon® e2s
Guildford, United Kingdom – The new Merrychef® eikon® e2s has scooped a prestigious design award from the Chicago Athenaeum, otherwise known as the International Museum of Architecture and Design. Dedicated to all areas of design from architecture, industrial and product design, the museum’s mission is to advance the public’s education about the value of good design and how it can positively impact the human environment.
Founded in 1950, the Good Design Awards remains the world’s oldest and most recognized program for design excellence worldwide. In 2015 the museum received submissions from several thousand of the world’s leading manufacturers for recognition of their work, with just a small handful of these being approved to use the prestigious Good Design logo. Manitowoc Foodservice is delighted that the Merrychef eikon e2s was one of those to hit the high standards required.
